“Gulaman Zakiya” is an Arabic word, which means the pure child, sinless child, faultless child or the holy child. This word is found in the 19th Surah Maryam (Mary) in the Quran. No one has ever called to be Gulaman Zakiya, not even the great prophet in Islam. In fact, the commentaries tell us that Allah sent his angel who stands by him, to tell to Maryam (Mary) about her son who was to be born, is Gulaman Zakiya.

Moreover, Allah also chose a name for this holy child and the angel declared this message that the child would be called Jesus Christ.

Now, I wonder how could Islamic teachers fail to take heed of this word, which signifies his (Isa Al Mashi) greatness and supremacy over all creations. Is it because they know better than Allah, or to hold their pride by covering shameful lies? How no one could see it? If this has to be ignored, then why Allah has to send his angel to Mary with such a word? If the Quran is the foundation of the Islamic faith then what makes us to avoid such an important word?

It is obvious that religion and religiosity are manmade laws and systems. The Holy God is not pleased with our religious laws. He loves to see our obedience towards Him following His words. Let us take a closer look into the world and judge our consciousness. When the angel appeared to Mary, He said: I am only a messenger of thy Lord, that I may bestow thee a faultless son, (Gulaman Zakiya) in (Surah 19:19). This is what the angel exactly said. He also said, Peace on him the day he was born, and the day he dieth and the day he shall be raised alive (v.15)!

(19)قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ رَسُولُ رَبِّكِ لِأَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَـٰمًا زَكِيًّا

Jesus repeated the very same words in verse 33 of Surah Maryam (Mary) like this: Peace on me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive! The angel and Jesus both spoke about Jesus’ birth, death and resurrection. But how do we interpret these words? Our Muslim brothers say no, Jesus never died and therefore no resurrection of him. Allah caused someone to die in his place. Does it not mean Allah is a deceiver? How could he deceive people causing someone to die in his place? How could he send his angel with the word of peace on the day of Jesus’ birth, death and resurrection alive?

The world today is full of lie. People love to cover the truth with lies. They fabricate history and lean on fake stories in order to satisfy themselves. Our Muslim brothers can see the words in their Quran that I am emphasizing on, but still will not follow. Why is that? Because people love to satisfy themselves with lies over the truth. The moral failure of humankind causing people to be blind so that they cannot see the true light. People love to pursue religion over the relationship with God who created us.

It is interesting how our Muslim brothers reading their religious book without knowing who is the central focus over all religions. No religion in this world can save us from the sins and punishment of sins. But, only the Gulaman Zakiya, who came from heaven to this earth can save us from sins and give us salvation. How? Because he died in our place on the cross, paying the penalty of our sins and suffered on our behalf. He died and was raised alive defeating the power of death a little over two thousand years ago.

Unless we acknowledge him as our Lord and Savior, unless we understand God who sent him to redeem us, we will all end up in an uncertain destiny, which is hell. Let us think for a moment where are we heading after this life. Think for a moment then come out from the bondage of the religious system into the world of grace. May God who loves you can guide you towards the light of the gospel and salvation through Gulaman Zakiya.
