You may not know or may not come to an agreement that all the prophets of the Al-Kitab were Jews. But it is the history that you cannot deny or ignore. I understand that the Islamic world has its different stories to tell. But the fact is, Prophets from Noah (Nuh Alaissalam) to Isa Al-Mashee (Jesus Christ) were all belong to Judaism or Jews.
They were all monotheistic, not idol worshipers. Although Prophet Abraham and his father were idolators, But the Lord Almighty God called him and Abraham began to follow him and walk with God, Yahweh. He left home and his household responding God’s call. He left his country and his idolatry behind and went to exodus in the wilderness where he tented and followed God’s guidance.
Interestingly, the Islamic Scholars claim that Abraham to be a Muslim where any man with historical ground knows that Islam came into being thousands of years later of his demise. Eventually, the followers of Islam are known as Muslim. So, how could he be Muslim if he was not the follower of Islam? Historically, He is Jew and the pioneer of Judaism.
This fact is merely ignored or exaggerated which not quite powerful enough to overcome or bypass the history. If you ever read the Torah, Al- Zabur or Injil–Old Testament and the New Testament– you will have a new horizon of Ahlee Kitab and the Kitabee (the follower of Ahlee Kitab or the people of the Books). It also included the books of the prophets and their Kitabs.
So, what do we have in the Torah (The Pentateuch), Zabur (Sacerdotal) and Injil (The Gospel) is crystal clear that all prophets in the history are Jews, not the follower of Islam. The Ahlee Kitab (the Holy books) contain the very words of Allah for mankind. These words are to follow, obey and to take heed of.
Surprisingly, not many people have courage to follow the words of Allah. They rather depend on their religious performances (Akida or Amal). But we should not forget that Allah / God has not given us life to follow religion, He wants us to follow Him and worship Him alone. He certainly did not tell us to kiss the black stone which symbolizes His hand (according to blind Muslim followers). He is not found neither in Macca nor in Madina. He is near to our hearts, knocking the door of our hearts to be opened. And here we are His creations running around for the sake of finding Him.
The Islamic teachers and Imams have been misleading people for many years. They themselves ignored this Ahlee Kitab and did not let other people to understand it. They rather trusted on Arabian fantasies or false tales. Maybe because they do not know about the God of Abraham or cannot comprehend that God can be such kind and merciful to His creation. With their uncomprehensive mind set, they (Islamic scholars) certainly denied to accept the ‘Ahle Kitab’ which offers life and salvation, a true guidance of Allah.
Not only that, they declare their ‘Fatwa’ that those books (Ahlee Kitab) have been abrogated. That is how the Truth has been covered by the lies for many centuries. Interestingly, scholars of Islam cannot produce any document based on Quran on their claim. For there are no such words in the Quran that the previous books have been abrogated. In fact, the Quran says- Zalikal Kitabu la raiba feehi.
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيهِ ۛ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ (٢) ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ وَيُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ (٣) وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ وَبِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ (٤)
Sura Bakara 2: 2-4.
It talks about which has no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah. Also, in Sura Al Imran 3:3-4 gives an importance of the Ahlee Kitab, saying- He has sent down upon you (O Muhammad), the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel. What is that really mean? Is it only a word or instructions for people to follow? But it seems we don’t really care about it. People have their own way to follow. Isn’t it?
نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَأَنزَلَ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ (٣) مِن قَبْلُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَنزَلَ ٱلْفُرْقَانَ ۗ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ ذُو ٱنتِقَامٍ (٤)
Sura Al Imran 3:3-4
۞ إِنَّآ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ كَمَآ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ نُوحٍ وَٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ ۚ وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسْمَـٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَـٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَٱلْأَسْبَاطِ وَعِيسَىٰ وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُونُسَ وَهَـٰرُونَ وَسُلَيْمَـٰنَ ۚ وَءَاتَيْنَا دَاوُۥدَ زَبُورًا (زَبُورًۭا ١٦٣)
Translation: I have sent revelation to you, O Messenger, as I had sent revelation to the prophets before you. This revelation to you is not something strange or unexpected. I had sent revelation to Noah and to the prophets who came after him. I sent revelation to Abraham and his two sons, Ishmael and Isaac, and to Jacob, the son of Isaac, and to the Tribes (which refers to the prophets that were from the twelve tribes of the Israelites from the children of Jacob). I also gave David a book called the Psalms. An-Nisa 4:163 (Abridged Explanation of the Quran Translation).
The argument is based on the fact that all the prophets before Muhammad were un-Muslims, as anyone who considers facts over fictions knows. Whereas, Muhammad himself was born into the family of polytheists.
مَا كَانَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ يَهُودِيًّا وَلَا نَصْرَانِيًّا وَلَـٰكِن كَانَ حَنِيفًا مُّسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ (٦٧)
In no way was Ibrahim a Jew, neither a Christian; (i.e. a follower of Isa “Jesus”, Nasraniyyan) but he was an unswervingly (upright) (i.e. veering away from idolatry) Muslim; and in no way was he one of the associators (Those who associate others with Allah). Al-Imran 3:67 (Dr. Ghali Translation).
The interesting thing is the Quran does not say Abraham was a Muslim. However, not acknowledging him as a Jew is a different debate.
According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, ‘after World War I, archaeological research made enormous strides with the discovery of monuments and documents, many of which date back to the period assigned to the patriarchs in the traditional account. The excavation of a royal palace at Mari, an ancient city on the Euphrates, for example, brought to light thousands of cuneiform tablets (official archives and correspondence and religious and juridical texts) and thereby offered exegesis a new basis, which specialists utilized to show that, in the biblical book of Genesis, narratives fit perfectly with what, from other sources, is known today of the early 2nd millennium BCE but imperfectly with a later period. A biblical scholar in the 1940s aptly termed this result “the rediscovery of the Old Testament.”
Have you ever thought about that? If not, would you consider to check this out? Have you ever come across a question: whom should we follow, Allah’s word or Imams? Don’t you think you can discover the truth if you simply take time to read
it through? You may need to take time to think through. Nevertheless, I tell if you seek the truth, you will find it out like million others who have found it.
Unfortunately, we have rejected the truth and Allah Himself when we denied to read His words. No wonder the Islamic teachers have given blind eyes towards Allah’s words and His Kitab. If they don’t, they won’t have their religious business. Not only they ignored the truth, at the same time, they have produced their own mythology in Islamic teachings. Their man-made wisdom can only mislead people but cannot draw people unto Allah Rabbul Alamin, the Almighty God.
If you are brave enough, a challenge taker, if you are ready to discover the truth, I am sure you will find Him at the end. The God who created you and me is merciful and loving. He is indeed willing to be revealed to the serious seekers. I am sure you too can find Him and be filled with joy and godliness.
A true Muslim follows true Allah. And the true Muslim only worship Allah, not any prophets or idols or black stone. For Allah is not found in Macca or Madina. He is near to your heart, knocking on the door of your heart, asking your heart to be opened, so that He can come in. Would you not allow Him to come in? Will you turn down His call?
My prayer is that Allah would touch your heart today and cover you with His wonderful grace.
May the God / Allah of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob bring you out of darkness into His marvelous light. May He give you grace to discover the hidden truth, the mystery that are untold. Amin.
